We HIGHLY RECOMMEND that you leave a cooler or cooler bag for us to put your meals in as we are no longer responsible for the safety of your food after they have been delivered.
We have four drivers that serve different areas of the Treasure Valley.
We personally refrigerate our meals from Saturday - Friday. However, our meals taste great after being frozen and defrosted slowly. You can freeze meals that you won't eat for the first 4 -5 days and enjoy them later. We also recommend using your best judgement regarding veggies that tend to soften earlier than others. We buy everything as fresh as possible, but bell peppers and zucchini can become soft faster than some of the other veggies, so it would be best to eat those meals earlier in the week rather than later.
The easy way: Open the lid to vent and heat 1.5 - 3 minutes in the microwave. Timing depends upon microwave strength. The chef's favorite way to heat a meal is in a hot skillet with a dash of olive oil. Heat just long enough to warm it up and not cook further - you'll think you're eating a freshly homemade meal!
We do not use all organic ingredients currently. Our mission has been to make healthy food simple and affordable for as many people as possible, and the reality is that if we go organic that dream is no longer a reality. There may be a time in the future that we offer all organic options, but we aren't there just yet.
If you're looking to lose weight, you should consider two major factors: what are you eating currently and how much? Losing weight isn't about immediately cutting out all carbs or eating way less calories. More likely than not, cleaning up the TYPES of foods you're eating, removing sugar, and controlling portion sizes will get the ball rolling. We recommend ordering our meals and choosing options that sound delicious so that you'll stick with it for 2 -4 weeks. Evaluate your weight and how you feel at that point. If you're seeing improvement then just stick with it. If you want to see more improvement you can begin eating fewer carbs and possibly smaller portion sizes. (We offer low carb & GLP-! friendly meals too!) Remember, it's about consistency over time and building healthy habits! If you want to get more serious about it, we recommend working with a local personal trainer.
